Phidippus johnsoni, also known as the widow jumping spider or Johnson's jumping spider, is a species of jumping spider found in North America, particularly in the western parts of the United States and Canada.

Like other jumping spiders, Phidippus johnsoni is known for its excellent vision, agility, and ability to leap to catch prey. They are commonly found in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, scrublands, forests, and urban areas. Phidippus johnsoni primarily feeds on insects and other small arthropods. They are known to be active hunters, stalking and capturing their prey using their jumping abilities.
